Feedback – MICA

CREATE A SOCIAL HUB. A welcoming and comfortable lounge area where people can meet, relax, enjoy refreshments and socialise before or after activities.

REUSE SQUASH COURTS FOR ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY USE. Convert one or two of the underused squash courts and changing-room areas into flexible spaces for community activities, groups, events and services. Examples could include a soundproofed band rehearsal/studio space or bouldering/climbing wall.

RETAIN OR IMPROVE SQUASH FACILITIES. Keep squash as part of MICA and explore ways to encourage more people to use the courts.

EXPAND THE CHARITY SHOP. Create more space for donations, displays and sales, helping the charity shop to raise additional funds for MICA.

HOLD FILM AND MOVIE NIGHTS. Provide regular film nights for families, adults, children and community groups.

CREATE A SOFT-PLAY AREA. Provide a safe indoor play area for younger children and a welcoming lounge space with refreshments for parents, carers and families.
