Operating in a Covid safe way, several of our regular activities are returning, from Badminton to Karate, Table Tennis to Slimming World, and the Gym is available in 50 minute pre booked slots, with an offer fee of £5 for single session users.
We aim to bring back more activities in line with future lifting of COVID-19 restrictions and our ability to finance them. As a self-supporting charity, struggling like many to recover from the shutdown, we need to add to our invaluable income from the Shop to cover our overheads.
If you are able to help us, there are ways you could do so:
Buy a ticket for The Essex Lottery (https://www.essexlottery.co.uk), nominate the Mersea Island Community Association as your chosen charity and we will receive 50p. Tickets cost £1 and you have the chance of a winning up to £25,000.
Do your on line shopping through easyfundraising (https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk) – it costs you nothing but we receive a small donation from the retailer. There are over 4200 retailers that you can use, and even small donations mount up.
Please take time to read our Covid-19 Risk Assessment
A ticket for The Essex Lottery costs £1 per week and 60p will go directly to good causes!
Every ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000!
