Mersea Island Players (MIPS)

MIPS proud to present their socially distanced short film from pantoland!
Filmed at the Mersea Island Community Centre (MICA), this script was tailor written about the centre and the panto characters which so often frequent it’s halls!
MICA is the home of the Mersea Island Players and the hub of the community, so with the centre suffering the enforced closures of 2020, like many other charities, we set about an alternative way to still put on a show and ensure we were able to support the MICA charity in lieu of our annual staged pantomime in January.

Please enjoy the panto and if you would like to make a donation:

If you are able to help us, there are ways you could do so:

Buy a ticket for The Essex Lottery (https://www.essexlottery.co.uk), nominate the Mersea Island Community Association as your chosen charity and we will receive 50p. Tickets cost £1 and you have the chance of a winning up to £25,000.

Do your on line shopping through easyfundraising (https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk) – it costs you nothing but we receive a small donation from the retailer. There are over 4200 retailers that you can use, and even small donations mount up.

Consider Bulb if you are changing your electricity or gas supply, £25 to you and £25 to us on any supply switched by going via www.bulb.me/francest1976

Donate funds direct to MICA via our Facebook page.
